Don’t Back Down presents a tribute to Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers, “Have Love Will Travel”

With the sad news that one of Don’t Back Down’s founding members, John Nichols, is relocating to the mid west and will be leaving the band, we felt it fitting to do a special send-off tribute to let him know how much we’ve appreciated all he’s done for the band. So in honor of John, DBD presents a special version of TPHB’s 2002 release Have Love Will Travel  from the Last DJ album.

This track features the whole DBD gang, including of course,  John on bass. Plus we’ve got both Mike Ward on the hammond organ and Rick O’Rick on the baby grand! We’re stoked at how well this track came out, and we’ll be adding it into the DBD live set for sure.
