Formed in 2018 by professional Baltimore-based musicians, Don’t Back Down shares a mutual love and respect for one of the most prolific songwriters of our time, and for the band that created one of the greatest catalogs in American rock history. Don’t Back Down is Mark O’Dell (guitar & lead vocals); Chris Huntington (lead guitar); Jeremy Robinson (bass & vocals); Tom Sabia (drums); and Ed Tetreault (keys & vocals).
Described by fans as raw and authentic, Don’t Back Down sets itself apart by diving deep to deliver both beloved classics and hidden gems, all performed live without backing tracks or studio trickery — just as the Heartbreakers did.

Our first original single
In tribute to the musical heritage of Laurel Canyon, and in support of the Annapolis Musicians Fund for Musicians (AM/FM), Don’t Back Down presents its debut original single.
Written by Mark O’Dell and Don’t Back Down, “Winding Roads” draws on the melodic spirit of the 1960s Laurel Canyon scene, especially Roger McGuinn and the Byrds. It’s a song about finding peace with where you’ve been, and how that shapes what comes next.
