Don’t Back Down

Celebrate the music of
Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers

Whether the music of Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers has been the sound track to your life, or you’re just looking for an exciting live rock experience, look no further than Maryland’s premier Tom Petty tribute band, Don’t Back Down.

Through accomplished musicianship and enthusiastic delivery, Don’t Back Down energizes audiences with a diverse mix of songs from Tom Petty & the Heartbreakers’ extensive 41-year, 13-album repertoire, including tracks from Tom Petty’s three solo albums, Mud Crutch and The Traveling Wilburys.

Don’t Back Down was formed in 2017 by a handful of seasoned Baltimore-based musicians who share a mutual love and respect for one of the most prolific songwriters of our time and for the band that produced one of the greatest American rock catalogues in history.

Don’t Back Down band members include: Mark O’Dell on guitar and lead vocals; Chris Huntington on lead guitar and vocals; John Nichols on bass and vocals; Tom Sabia on drums; and special guests, Mike Ward and Evan Cooper on keyboards and vocals.

It is with great humility and respect that Don’t Back Down strives to present audiences with truly authentic versions of these great songs — keeping the music of Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers alive in the hearts of life-long fans, new fans and budding rock musicians everywhere.

Have Love WILL Travel

UGG WHAT A YEAR….

Like many other acts, Don’t Back Down’s 2020 schedule was significantly impacted by COVID-19. We sincerely regret that we weren’t able to keep as many shows as we wanted to however, we appreciate and respect the decisions made by both the venues and our booking team. We are working hard to come back in 2021, and we wish EVERYONE who has been affected by these crazy times the best of luck.

In the meantime we’ve been keeping busy by tracking some great deep-cuts at DBD studios. Check out what we’ve been up to in the video.
